Fortinet Security Fabric in Stock: FG-101F, FS-448E-POE, and FAP-231G

When an enterprise refreshes its network and security infrastructure, firewall, switching, and wireless products cannot be selected from standalone specifications alone. Management integration, PoE capacity, subscriptions, firmware compatibility, and the actual deployment scope must also be confirmed. Server Plus now has FortiGate FG-101F, FortiSwitch FS-448E-POE, and FortiAP FAP-231G-T in stock for individual purchase or a coordinated Fortinet Security Fabric deployment.

Server Plus has FortiGate FG-101F, FortiSwitch FS-448E-POE, and FortiAP FAP-231G-T in stock for an integrated firewall, PoE switching, and Wi-Fi 6E deployment. Individual and project purchases are available.

Coordinate Firewall, Wired, and Wireless Infrastructure

The FG-101F can serve as the enterprise security gateway, the FS-448E-POE provides 48-port PoE+ access, and the FAP-231G provides tri-band Wi-Fi 6E. FortiGate Switch Controller and FortiAP management bring security policy, wired switching, and wireless networking into a coordinated Fortinet architecture.

Centralized management does not mean the equipment is ready for production as soon as it is connected. The FortiOS, FortiSwitchOS, and FortiAP compatibility matrix must be checked, followed by design and validation of VLANs, SSIDs, guest and IoT networks, management segments, FortiLink, HA, and uplinks.

FortiGate FG-101F: Next-Generation Firewall with Local Log Storage

The FG-101F includes a 480GB SSD for local log retention. Interfaces include 22 GE RJ45 ports, four GE SFP ports, and two 10GE SFP+ FortiLink ports. Built-in redundant AC power suits SMB and branch environments requiring multiple physical interfaces, 10G uplinks, VPN, and local event records.

Fortinet lists maximum firewall throughput of 20Gbps, IPsec VPN throughput of 11.5Gbps, NGFW throughput of 1.6Gbps, and 1.5 million concurrent sessions. These are platform figures under defined test conditions. Real capacity varies with FortiOS, packet size, SSL inspection, IPS, application control, and traffic mix, so sizing must reflect the security functions that will be enabled.

  • Enterprise Protection: IPS, AI inline malware protection, Inline CASB, DLP, application control, URL/DNS/video filtering, antispam, and Attack Surface Security
  • Enterprise Protection and FortiCare Premium valid through December 22, 2027
  • Two units in stock; NT$41,000 each before tax

FortiSwitch FS-448E-POE: 48-Port PoE+ Access with 10G Uplinks

The FS-448E-POE provides 48 GE RJ45 PoE+ ports and four 10GE SFP+ uplinks, with a maximum total PoE budget of 421W. It can power FortiAPs, IP phones, cameras, and other 802.3af/at endpoints, while FortiGate Switch Controller supports centralized administration.

The 421W rating is the switch-wide PoE budget; it does not mean all 48 ports can simultaneously deliver maximum power. Deployment planning should total normal and startup power for every endpoint, retain headroom, and confirm optics, DACs, VLANs, and uplink topology.

  • FortiCare Premium Support valid through February 3, 2027
  • Two units in stock; NT$35,000 each before tax

FortiAP FAP-231G-T: Tri-Band Indoor Wi-Fi 6E Access Point

The FAP-231G is a 2x2 MU-MIMO indoor Wi-Fi 6E AP with three radios for 2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz, plus dual-5GHz deployment support. Connectivity includes one multi-gigabit RJ45 port supporting up to 5GbE and one GE RJ45 port, together with BT/BLE, USB Type-A, and an RS-232 console.

It can be powered by 802.3at PoE directly from the FS-448E-POE and includes ceiling and wall mounting hardware. Fortinet warranty coverage for these FAP-231G-T units has expired; the transaction is for asset transfer only. Serial number, condition, and delivery terms are confirmed before purchase.

  • Ten units in stock; NT$5,000 each before tax
  • Original packaging; basic functional testing before shipment

Designed for SMB, Branch, and Office Network Refreshes

This combination suits environments refreshing their edge firewall, PoE access switch, and enterprise Wi-Fi at the same time. VLANs, SSIDs, guest access, IoT segments, and security policy can be designed together, reducing the operational overhead of fragmented multi-vendor management.

Organizations with an existing FortiGate can purchase FortiSwitch or FortiAP separately. For a new office, branch, or full refresh, Server Plus first reviews users, endpoint count, Internet bandwidth, VPN, wireless coverage, PoE demand, and resilience before confirming quantity and topology.

  • SMB and branch network refreshes
  • Integrated wired, wireless, and security infrastructure
  • FortiSwitch or FortiAP expansion for an existing FortiGate environment
  • Segmentation for guests, IoT, and internal users
  • Deployments requiring 10G uplinks and local log retention

Confirm Licensing and Asset Transfer Before Ordering

The units are nearly new and retain their original packaging. Fortinet asset transfer can be requested according to device and account eligibility. Transfer, subscription continuity, and FortiCare rights remain subject to serial status, the original account, the buyer account, and Fortinet approval. Server Plus verifies these conditions before confirming the order and does not present an unapproved transfer as guaranteed entitlement.

Before shipment, Server Plus performs basic functional tests and confirms quantity, condition, firmware, power supplies, accessories, subscription information, and delivery terms. The products are available as a project bundle or individually.

FAQ

Can the FG-101F, FS-448E-POE, and FAP-231G be purchased separately?

Yes. Each product is available individually, or Server Plus can design a coordinated package based on office users, topology, AP count, and PoE demand.

Are asset transfer and remaining subscriptions guaranteed?

No. They depend on device serial status, the original account, the buyer Fortinet account, and Fortinet approval. Server Plus checks transfer eligibility and dates before ordering, but cannot guarantee approval before Fortinet confirms it.

Can all 48 FS-448E-POE ports provide PoE+?

The switch has 48 PoE+ capable ports, but the maximum total PoE budget is 421W. Simultaneous capacity depends on each endpoint, so total demand and headroom must be calculated.

Does the FG-101F 20Gbps firewall rating equal actual Internet speed?

No. It is a vendor throughput figure under specified test conditions. SSL inspection, IPS, application control, packet size, and traffic mix all affect real throughput.
